Week of April 12-16

Well, I hope everyone has had the opportunity to relax and recharge this past week. We will come back in at 100 and then, Thursday and Friday will be asynchronous. My office hours will be from 9-11 on both days, in case there are questions. I will have the class on and they can pop in and ask questions. Some students took advantage of this last time. All asynchronous work is due by midnight Sunday.

The following week we will begin MAP testing and then start reviewing and wrapping up for state testing. WE ARE READY for this and more. I believe they can and will as long as they take their time and read carefully. Sitting in class with them, I see and know what they can do. There are mistakes made and usually it's because they are not taking their time. This is shown when I go back and have them to sit with me, re-read the question, and redo their answer. And  BAMMMMMM, they get it right!! I remind them there are no redos on MAP or state testing. We will continue to work on slowing down and re-reading. Work on this at home as well.

Thank you for being such awesome parents and supporters!!!

I love my little superheroes and looking forward to seeing their little faces tomorrow!!

Thanks again,

Mrs. Rojas
