We got this!  We worked really hard this week, raised money for American Heart Association, and ended Black History Month (check out our awesome Black History poster and everyone had a hand in coloring a piece of it, some more than others). This month we will focus on Women's History Month, making the women from "Hidden Figures" part of our study. We reached our halfway point for the 3rd nine weeks. We have finished another week. Ya'll we are in the 3rd nine weeks. We are over halfway through this year!! Woohoo!! These kids have been working hard and we have spent many days inside due to rain. Let's hope that next week the sun will come out and shine!! Go ahead and pencil these dates in for next month: March 12th is a student holiday, March 18th is Spring Picture Day, and March 31st is the end of the 3rd nine weeks . When I say time is flying, TIME IS FLYING!!!! This week we began Chapter 9 in math (multiplying by 10), worked on point of view and began compare/contrast in reading, and worked on the different types of soil. Next week, we will be finishing Chapter 9 and circling back to place value, finishing up comparing/contrasting and beginning author's purpose in reading, as well as finishing soil and taking the assessment. Here's the agenda for the week. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Community News   Talent
